Université Clermont Auvergne (UCA)
Université Clermont Auvergne (UCA) is a multidisciplinary higher education institution located in Auvergne, a territory lying in the heart of the Massif Central that combines rural areas with a wide range of industries, from SMEs to international groups.
The university is composed of 20 faculties, 5 doctoral schools and 39 research laboratories working in the fields of fundamental and engineering sciences, life and health sciences as well as law, human and social sciences.
UCA is committed in several laboratory of excellence, regional clusters and competitiveness centers and has been awarded an I-Site label, namely " Investments for the Future programme" which integrates engineering schools, industry and research laboratories in one of the 12 major research area in France ("CAP 2025" project).
With 40.000 students, including almost 5.500 (14%) international ones and 3.800 staff, it plays a key role in the territorial structuration and the building of a European level region.
UCA is participating in the PRUDENT project on behalf of its Research Unit CROC for “Centre de Recherche en Odontologie Clinique”.
